Certified Ingredient Wins at 2022 NutraIngredients Awards

The 8th Annual NutraIngredients Awards took place on 04 May. The 2022 ceremony sought to honour the best ingredients, finished products, companies, people, and initiatives within the dietary supplements industry.

Informed Ingredient certified affron from Pharmactive Biotech Products won Ingredient of the Year: Healthy Ageing. This category celebrates the best the industry has to offer to remain physically and mentally healthy as we age. "Clinical evidence of effectiveness in a range of health applications linked to ageing, including sleep, mood and menopause, along with the excellent success record in European markets, make Affron the winner with the judges and the Healthy Ageing category," said the judges when selecting the winner. 

Along with winning in the Healthy Ageing category, affron was also a nominee in the Cognitive Function category which it won in the 2020 NutraIngredients USA Awards. 

Also a finalist in the Healthy Ageing category was certified ingredient Levagen+  from Gencor Pacific.
