Certified Ingredients Named Winners in 2021 NutraIngredients-USA Awards
Organised by NutraIngredients USA, the annual NutraIngredients-USA Awards showcase the sports nutrition industry's top ingredients, supplements, companies and initiatives. This year, 2 ingredients tested and certified by Informed Ingredient won in their respective categories:
- Winner of Ingredient of the Year - Cognitive Function was enXtra from ENovate Biolife. The award celebrates ingredients designed to meet the specific demands of cognitive health.

When selecting enXtra as the winner, the judges said "enXtra is a natural, safe and effective alternative to caffeine" and that it could be a "potential game-changer in the esports category".
- Winner of Ingredient of the Year - Healthy Aging was Levagen+ from Gencor. This award recognises solutions that help users remain physically and mentally healthy as they age.

The judges said Levagen+ "had the scientific backing for thew ingredient's anti-inflammatory/analgesic effects" and that the ingredient's "formulation flexibility was seen as an important x-factor".
Informed Ingredient also wants to extend congratulations to certified ingredient Sunfiber for being a finalist for Ingredient of the Year - Prebiotic.
